Privacy at a Glance

CampLevel is an iOS app for tilt measurement for caravans, motorhomes and vans. All data remains locally on your device. No personal data is transmitted to servers, no tracking tools are used and no data is shared with third parties.

Data Processing in the App

Motion Data (Gyroscope / Accelerometer)

The app uses your iPhone's or iPad's motion sensors for tilt measurement. This data is processed exclusively locally on the device and is not stored or transmitted.

Bluetooth Data (optional)

When using an external BLE sensor, Bluetooth data is used exclusively for the local connection to the sensor. No Bluetooth data is transmitted to servers.

Camera (optional)

The camera is used exclusively for the optional AR view. No images or videos are recorded or stored.

Measurement History (optional, Pro)

Saved measurements are stored exclusively locally on your device in a local database (SwiftData). This data is not synchronized or transmitted.

Peer-to-Peer Connection (optional)

When using a second device as a sensor, tilt data is exchanged directly between devices via an encrypted local connection (MultipeerConnectivity). No data is transmitted over the internet.

Apple Watch

When using the Apple Watch companion app, tilt data is exchanged between iPhone and Watch via WatchConnectivity. This communication is local and encrypted.

In-App Purchases

The optional Pro upgrade is processed via Apple's StoreKit 2. Payment processing and payment data are handled exclusively by Apple. We have no access to your payment information.

Data Processing on this Website

Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, USA). When visiting the website, technical data (IP address, browser type, access time) is automatically recorded in server logs.

Vercel Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous analysis of website usage. No cookies are set and no personal data is collected. The data is processed in aggregated and anonymized form.

Email Notification

If you sign up for the launch notification, your email address is stored at Upstash (Serverless Redis). The email is used exclusively for the one-time notification at app launch and then deleted.

No Sharing with Third Parties

We do not share personal data with third parties. No tracking tools, advertising networks or analytics services are used in the app.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, deletion and restriction of processing of your personal data at any time, as well as the right to data portability.
